Master Key Week 9 – If you wish to change conditions you must change yourself.

Haanel say’s “If you wish to change conditions, you must change yourself.  Your whims, your wishes, your fancies, your ambitions may be thwarted at every step, but your inmost thoughts will find expression just as the plant springs from the seed”.

Reclaim yourself-, why hang on to what you don’t want?  That statement certainly makes sense, so then, why do we hang on to what we don’t want?  It might be because it’s easier, as it takes some work to make the changes.

Change does not come overnight, but admit I am enjoying the process.  The work that is involved in MKMMA is coming together.  I look forward to the reading more and if a paragraph is not clear I go back and read it again.  That’s definitely different from when I started.  I thought if I went through the process and read, I was doing what I needed to do and I could move on to the next assignment and the magic would happen!  That is definitely not so and that’s why many people will not commit to a 26 week course that entails work every day.  Is it worth the sacrifice-, absolutely!!!

So Haanel says, “Visualization is the mechanism of the attachment which you require.  Visualization is a very different process from seeing; seeing is physical, and is therefore related to the objective world, the “world without,’ but Visualization is the product of the imagination, and is therefore a product of the subjective mind, the “world within”.  It therefore possesses vitality; it will grow.  The thing visualized will manifest itself in form.  The mechanism is perfect; it was created by the Master Architect who “doeth all things well,” but unfortunately sometimes the operator is inexperienced or inefficient, but the practice and determination will overcome the defect.”

The operator, being myself is inexperienced and inefficient but I am acknowledging that which is not a sign of weakness; it is being truthful, as I believe this operator needs more practice and determination to overcome the defect!!!

“Truth is mighty and will prevail.”  To have a sustainable business, it must be built on truth!!!  This is in total alignment with my thinking!!!

Enjoy the journey,

Master Key Week 8 – If we practice, have determination and imagination…

Week 8 was all about imagination.  When we were kids our imagination was endless.  We played all day and much of the day was total imagination whether you were playing school, having a store, being a movie star, pretending you were the Lady Bugs!!!  Yes, I was fortunate to have summer friends and us girls were the Lady Bugs and the boys were the Beatles.  Us girls would spend days making our guitars out of a piece of wood, a 1 x 4.  Use cardboard cut out in the shape of the guitar.  Use toothpaste caps as these guitars were electronic guitars.  We used fish line for the strings meticulously drawing black lines on the piece of wood.  We would paint our guitars and spend hours making them look real.  We would practice for hours singing with the music on our 45’s.  My friends had a 45 player that had batteries and we could bring that outside-, how cool was that!  Now of course, while we were practicing, the guys (we called them the “big kids” and one of them happened to be my older brother) would be doing the same.  So on a Saturday night we had what we called a playoff and invited everyone in the cottages to come watch us play.  We treated this like a big production and put our pennies, nickels and dimes together and got lots of penny candy for the audience.  When that evening came both the Lady Bugs and the Beatles performed and the audience chose the winners.  And guess who that might be-, us young girls, the Lady Bugs.  I can still remember the “big kids” running after the judges with their guitars like they were going to hit them over their heads, but of course, they didn’t.  It was a special time in my life, when summers were carefree.  My summer friends brought my imagination to a whole new level.  Although I don’t see them on a regular basis we keep in touch and talk about the days that we were called “The Riviera Girls”.  It was a simple time when you could be gone all day and come home at dinnertime.  Imagine!!!

I loved this week because I spent time imagining.  The battleship exercise focuses on imagining all those men and women on that battleship as it sits on the ocean.  Go backwards and think of how they got there, what did they study, when and why did they decide to enlist, what were their lives like growing up.  Then you think about the ship and moving backwards watch it being dismantled.  How were all the parts made and where were they made and on and on.

What I have realized is I need to take the time to imagine. You can’t just think about it, you need to exercise your mind and sit still and see it, imagine it happening.  I then want to take it backwards, dismantle, which will give me direction to see it through, make a plan and move forward.

If I only knew!!!

Master Key Week 7 – If you take the time to Visualize

Haanel says “Visualization is the process of making mental images, and the image is the mold or model which will serve as a pattern from which your future will emerge.”

This is starting to sink in a bit and make more sense.   I have a better understanding why it’s important that our DMP (Definite Major Purpose) needs to be clear and concise.  I am thinking about when I built our home, I had the picture and the plans and constantly looked at all the details on the blueprint.  I checked all the orders to make sure everything matched the materials I was expecting.   All of the measurements, starting with the foundation and framing needed to be precise.  Even 1/2” inch off somewhere can change the outcome-, cause and effect!  I was focused at each stage checking everything along the way.

I am learning that to be successful you need to have a plan, be able to visualize the plan in your mind before you start the process.   When I talk about success, it’s not measured by how much money you make or what you have.  My success is having balance in our lives, helping others find their balance and the ability to choose what we want to focus on with full intent, enjoying the process and the money will follow.

To our success,

Master Key Week 6 – “If” we want to maximize our potential we just have to find our gifts!

Reading of the Master Key Week #6 was enlightening to say the least.  I chose to focus on the following paragraphs:

18.       The man who looks within instead of without cannot fail to make use of the mighty forces which will eventually determine his course in life and so bring him into vibration with all that is best, strongest and most desirable.

I am in a good place as I write about Week #6-, I am seeing progress, yes slow, but progress.   I know if I keep doing the work I will enjoy a new daily bliss!!!

19.       Attention or concentration is probably the most important essential in the development of mind culture.  The possibilities of attention when properly directed are so startling that they would hardly appear credible to the uninitiated.  The cultivation of attention is the distinguishing characteristic of every successful man or woman, and is the very highest personal accomplishment, which can be acquired.

So much has to do with the power of attention.  This week my focus is directed and I am accomplishing things that I have intended to do for quite some time.  My frontal lobes are being creative and I am waking up with knowing what it is that I want to accomplish.  Influencing the subconscious mind has been quite a journey and I’m so excited knowing that I am chipping away the cement one chip at a time and it brings me to a place within that I have not felt.

21.       So with the power of thought; let power be dissipated by scattering the thought from one object to another, and no result is apparent; but focus this power through attention or concentration on any single purpose for any length of time and nothing becomes impossible.

I am in the present taking in meaningful moments observing the beauty that surrounds us.  More direct focus on things that need to be done and getting it done.  I have been living my life by the clock and I am ready, willing and able to start living by the compass.

If I only knew!!!

Thank you for the day,

Master Key Week 5 “If we stay faithful to reading the Scrolls”

This week we completed reading “Scroll Marked I” of “The Greatest Salesman in the World”.  It is a new habit reading 3 times a day and when reading it at night, reading it out loud.  I have read the Scroll at 2 am desperately wanting to get some sleep instead, however, I can’t in my conscious mind do that knowing I need to stay loyal to my new habit.

Today we went on to “Scroll Marked II” and what I found very interesting is this.  We were asked to take a paragraph from “Scroll Marked I” and put it at the beginning of “Scroll Marked II”.  Knowing this, as I have read this week “Scroll Marked I” up until today, I was paying very close attention to the reading, as I wanted to choose my paragraph carefully.  What I found was each time I read, I would choose another paragraph.   I found most paragraphs were chosen at one time or another throughout the reading this week.

So today when I had to choose, I chose to read several first before starting to read “Scroll Marked II”.  I know I may get the suggestion to just choose one and focus on that, but today I have read several different paragraphs and will choose carefully.  What do I think about all of this?  Well, I believe I enjoy my new habit and sense everything in the Scroll is all incredibly important to me.  On the other hand, some may think I need to make a decision and I plan on doing that!

One thing that really stuck out today when first moving on and reading “Scroll Marked II”-, I was automatically taking the word “will” out!  For those of you that aren’t taking the Master Key Mastermind Alliance we read each Scroll for 30 days.  The first 2 weeks we read as is and the next 2 weeks we take the word “will” out, reading in present tense.  So you can see why when going onto “Scroll Marked II” a habit had formed!

No question, the IF is no longer in the equation!
