Master Key Week 17 HJ – If we believe we are natures greatest miracle…

It has been 31 days that we have read Og Mandino’s Scroll IV three times a day.  I definitely look at people in a different way since reading, how can you not?  I look at myself differently and expect more from myself as well.

In the past two months we have had two beautiful baby girls come into our family.  It is a time of reflection and rebirth.  I reflect on how my Mom would be so proud of her grandchildren building their unique lives and some bringing into this world the next generation.  My Dad did not have the pleasure of seeing my brothers or myself getting married and raising a family; however, I have always known that he was close by watching over us overflowing with pride.  I learned at a young age that each person is a unique gift.

As Og Mandino says in Scroll IV in “The Greatest Salesman In The World”

“I am nature’s greatest miracle.

Since the beginning of time never has there been another with my mind, my heart, my eyes, my ears, my hands, my hair, my mouth.  None that came before, none that live today, and none that come tomorrow can walk and talk and move and think exactly like me.  All men are my brothers yet I am different from each.  I am a unique creature. “

Getting back to my nieces and nephews two beautiful baby girls I would like to reflect on our three children and my brothers children who each had two children.  We have always been very close and when bringing up our kids we would always get together for their birthdays and  holidays.  So our children became “The Cousins” who are also very close and have lots of fun together.  They are now starting the next generations of “The Cousins”-, how beautiful!!!

In the past when a baby was born I would think of them as a miracle.  I now look at people at any age and know that they were and are still nature’s greatest miracle!!!

Enjoy being nature’s greatest miracle,

Master Key Week 17 – What if you use concentration and listen to your intuition

There is a lot more to concentration and intuition than I previously thought as I was reading Haanel’s Week 17.  Have you ever made a decision and got a knot in your stomach or just have felt that your decision perhaps wasn’t a good one?  I can remember specific moments in my life that I had that pit in my stomach and should have listened to my intuition.  I have to say I do listen to my intuition and believe it works with you in incredible ways.  With our 15 minute sits I am definitely learning to concentrate in a meaningful manner with less effort.  Below are my favorite paragraphs from Week 17-, one on Concentration and Intuition.

con·cen·tra·tion noun ˌkän(t)-sən-ˈtrā-shən, -ˌsen-

: the ability to give your attention or thought to a single object or activity

: the ability to concentrate

: the act of giving your attention to a single object or activity

: a large amount of something in one place

Haanel’s Paragraph 11.  Concentration does not mean mere thinking of thoughts, but the transmutation of these thoughts into practical values; the average person has no conception of the meaning of concentration.  There is always the cry “to have” but never the cry “to be”; they fail to understand that they cannot have one without the other, that they must first find the “kingdom” before they can have the “things added.”  Momentary enthusiasm is of no value; it is only the unbounded self-confidence that the goal is reached.

in·tu·i·tion noun ˌin-tü-ˈi-shən, -tyü-

: a natural ability or power that makes it possible to know something without any proof or evidence

: a feeling that guides a person to act a certain way without fully understanding why

: Something that is known or understood without proof or evidence

Haanel’s Paragraph 23.  Intuition arrives at conclusions without the aid of experience or memory.  Intuition often solves problems that are beyond the grasp of the reasoning power.  Intuition often comes with a suddenness that is startling; it reveals the truth for which we are searching, so directly that it seems to come from a higher power.  Intuition can be cultivated and developed; in order to do this it must be recognized and appreciated; if the intuitive visitor is given a royal welcome when he comes, he will come again; the more cordial the welcome the more frequent his visits will become, but if he is ignored or neglected he will make his visits few and far apart.

To your concentration and intuition!

Master Key Week 16 – If we choose to determine what enters the world within…

This weeks reading was much clearer as this journey we are taking definitely has cumulative affect.   (We all know that Mark J, Davene and Trish have been very clear about that statement since day one!!!)  I have understood why each week we are directed to read the current weeks Master Key once each day, but I now really get it more than ever!!!  I also enjoy listening to the audios when driving or taking my dog Brady for a walk.  It is amazing how much more understanding you gain as you listen and your thoughts begin to bring on visualization as suggested.  I would like to talk about several of the paragraphs:

15.  Whatever enters the mind through the senses or the objective mind will impress the mind and result in a mental image, which will become a pattern of the creative energies.  These experiences are largely the result of environment; chance, past thinking and other forms of negative thought, and must be subjected to careful analysis before being entertained.  On the other hand, we can form our own mental images, through our own interior processes of thought regardless of the thoughts of others, regardless of exterior conditions, regardless of environment of every kind, and it is by the exercise of this power that we can control our own destiny, body, mind and soul.

Paragraph 15 above is so clear now.  I am starting to experience a shift.  My DMP (Definite Major Purpose) is beginning to gel.  It is in it’s infancy, however, I can see that a part of it is beginning to get on course as people are coming in my life and they have opened a door that has lead me to people with a mutual desire.   I can visualize my reality with faith that it is attainable.  This is so enjoyable!!!

16.  It is by the exercise of this power that we take our fate out of the hands of chance, and consciously make ourselves the experiences which we desire, because when we consciously realize a condition, that condition will eventually manifest in our lives; it is therefore evident that in the last analysis thinking is the one great cause in life.

Paragraph 16-, I am no longer wishing or dreaming, I am experiencing knowing that I can be what I will to be and accomplish my DMP.

Enjoy the journey,

Master Key Week 15 – If you think you can change the world, you are right!

Some people make it their goal to spread chaos and fear throughout the world.

This week is about “in-sight”.  First, the definition of “in-sight”:

in·sight noun ˈin-ˌsīt

: the ability to understand people and situations in a very clear way

: an understanding of the true nature of something

My thoughts are many and one that I would like to share with you.  What if instead of chaos and fear we spread harmony and love?  What if people truly started thinking more about helping others without any reciprocity?  What if we chose to watch only good and no longer said yes to violence in the media, on the television, in the movies?  Our thoughts are our reality.  Think about what is happening to people all around us and what thoughts are being infiltrated into their minds.

People may have a fear about such a change; will this make me weak they ask?  Will the change make them have to defend themselves all the time?  Will I be thought of as weak if I don’t like to see violence and guts in a movie?  When you just read that sentence did it bring into your mind some thoughts that you would consider negative?  If so, perhaps there is something to our thoughts!

Take a moment and think about some of the TV shows, movies or news that you have watched or read about recently.  How do you feel afterwards?  Does it make you feel happy, ambitious, giving and excited about your day?  If the answer is no, perhaps it’s time to be changing what it is you are looking at, feeding your thoughts which feeds your mind.

If you believe there is any truth to what you have just read, please take the time to read more of people blogging about MKMMA (Master Key Master Mind Alliance)!  You will gain much INSIGHT!!!

To our insight,

Master Key Week 14 – Persistence – watch the movie “Door to Door”

We were asked this week to watch one of the following movies-, Rudy, Door to Door, October Sky or Cool Runners.  I do plan on watching all of them but this week I chose to watch “Door to Door”.  To be honest, I had no idea what the movie was about so it caught me off guard as I was really touched by this movie.

Bill Porter was born with Cerebral Palsy.  He went on to becoming a well-known successful door-to-door salesman.  His Mom taught him Patience and Persistence and on his first day of work even had it written in bold red letters on his sandwich.  One side PATIENCE and the other PERSISTENCE.

You see, Bill Porter had a DMP (Definite Major Purpose) backed by a burning desire and that was he wanted to be self-sufficient and not a burden to his Mom or society.  He did not want charity.  He wanted to make his own way and in the process he helped many people in his own quiet way.  As his Mom was realizing she was losing her memory she said to her son “I’m a burden on you” he then replied, “then we are even”.  He was gifted with his mannerisms and unique way of pure honesty.

His PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) was incredible even when the door was shut on him so many times in his life.  He was persistent beyond measure and teaches us that if we believe in something strongly it doesn’t matter how many times the door shuts in our faces as long as we believe and know we are doing the right thing.

Bill also had an MMA (Master Mind Alliance), which included his Mom, and people who became his friends-, one special person who worked with him and others who through the years realized that he was a person you wanted to be associated with.  He was the thread of the neighborhood.  I don’t want to give away this beautiful story, but I do want to warn you that it tugs at your heart but for all the right reasons

Here is a trailer version of “Door to Door”:

Note: You can watch this movie on YouTube as long as you don’t mind watching in 7 different segments-, here is the link:
